mythtv, mythfilldatabase and tv_grab_*

mythfilldatabase always fail when mythbackend is started at boot as a daemon.
If i run mythfilldatabase manually it works fine.
I suspect this problem is because the perl paths are not present when mythfilldatabase tries to start tv_grab* perl script.

Do anyone else have this problem ?
If i am correct that the perl paths are missing, perhaps some veteran can suggest how the perl paths (/etc/profile.d/perlbin.sh) could be added in a good way to the mythbackend start script.

i added

PATH=/bin:/usr/bin:/sbin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin/perlbin/site:/usr/bin/perlbin/vendor:/usr/bin/perlbin/core

to /etc/rc.d/mythbackend and mythfilldatabase now works when mythbackend is started at boot
