Congratulations!
That reminds me of the "24 pack challenge" I read about a while ago, and decided to apply to my life: When facing a new computer project, buy a 24 pack of your favorite (non-alcoholic) drink. Open the first can and start working on it. If you can't get it working by the time you finish the case (in however many hours / days) then it's probably time to give up.

I think it took me a six-pack of coke and two 200g bags of peanuts to install Arch.

It would be a very different challenge (but maybe more fun?) if you bought a 24 pack of your favorite alcoholic beverage and tried to get a simple computer project working by the time you finish the pack.

Hofstadter's Law:
It always takes longer than you expect, even when you take into account Hofstadter's Law.
