Amarok doesn't work (solved)

When I start it I get two messages. The second one is below.

There are exceptions caught in the script 'Lyricwiki'. Please refer to the console debug output for more information.

I went to my home and deleted all references to amarok.

Just a guess..... , but i reckon maybe posting some of that debug output would give you more chance of getting some help.

unknown program name>(24424)/: KUniqueApplication: Cannot find the D-Bus session server:  "Did not receive a reply. Possible causes include: the remote application did not send a reply, the message bus security policy blocked the reply, the reply timeout expired, or the network connection was broken."

Re: Amarok doesn't work (solved)

Do you use stable or testing Amarok?
I use testing and it works...
But it seems like a d-bus problem and policy problem, like Amarok couldn't access D-Bus and thus network to get lyrics (Amarok 2 has automatic downloading of lyrics...)
You could also go to .KDE4 or .KDE and in share/config find amarokrc and edit:

[Lyricwiki]
LyricWikiEnabled=false

it should do the trick.
PS.: I've changed it to true and it still works it must be "local" problem...

Whatever I do, I always end up with something horribly mis-configured.
