Can't mount any devices (xfce) [SOLVED]

When I try to mount a device in thunar (xfce) I get a message that says something like this:

Failed to mount "LaCie".
Rejected send message, 1 matched rules; type="method_call", sender=":1.21" (uid=1000 pid=2163 comm="exo-mount) interface="org.freedesktop.Hal.Device.Volume" member="Mount" error name="(unset)" requested_reply=0 destination="org.freedesktop.Hal" (uid=0 pid=1752 comm="/usr/sbin/hald)).

I have read the wiki page, but there is nothing about thunar, only nautilus. I've put myself in the storage and optical groups.

I really want to have access to this drive since I put my backup there before I went from Ubuntu to Arch.

Re: Can't mount any devices (xfce) [SOLVED]

Are you using

exec ck-launch-session

to start xfce?

No, I'm using startxfce4. Should I be using "exec ck-launch-session"?

Only if you want to mount your drive smile

exec ck-launch-session xfce4-session

as per http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Xfc … _Drives.29

Thanks, that worked. The weird thing is just that xfce doesn't follow the mouse theme anymore, but that's okay.
