[SOLVED] startx & firefox problems

I'm making a Arch Linux live CD and here's the 2 problems:
1) I get this when I startx

and then I get on my desktop but

2) When I try to run firefox which was included in my packages.list
It doesn't open but I know it's installed because "which firefox" shows me that it is there

EDIT:
by making rc.local work properly THIS IS IT firefox boots and no more weird message at beginning
