Hi,
I'm new to the Arch Linux distribution, but I've tried to install and configure Arch for two days now. My problem is mainly that the Dutch mirrors are completely useless! I can install the system by the use of the American or German mirrors. Does anyone else from the Netherlands experiences these problems with these mirrors or someone else that also uses the Dutch mirrors? Because during the installations there is a connection timeout over and over again...
To be more specific it's about these mirrors:
ftp://ftp.nluug.nl
http://ftp.nluug.nl
ftp://ftp.surfnet.nl
http://ftp.surfnet.nl

i use ftp://ftp.surfnet.nl which usually seems to work fairly well (i have just Syu'd 2 minutes ago). it doesn't work 100% of the time though, so i do have a foreign mirror uncommented as well for backup..

I use belnet.be mirrors, they seem quite popular in NL.
Never had problems with dutch mirrors so far and they are up to date (see https://users.archlinux.de/~gerbra/mirrorcheck.html)

I always use the "nluug.nl" mirror. No complaints.
Somewhere between "too small" and "too large" lies the size that is just right.

Hmmm, okay, I guess I'll just uncomment more mirrors. Thanks for the comments!
