How do I make banshee see my N900/iPod?

Hi,

I am trying to get banshee to see my new N900 (in mass storage mode) and my old iPod classic but I cannot seem to get it to pick up anything.

Am I missing some packages? Do I need to do anything apart from plugging it in and setting the device to mass storage mode?
