Flash on x86_64: nspluginwrapper on aur not found.

Hallo,

i'm (unsuccessfully) trying to install nspluginwrapper-1.2.2 from aur. As already found in the forum, the host gwenole.beauchesne.info is down and the packages can't be downloaded from there.

I managed to find some alternative (working) links for nspluginweapper-i386-1.2.2-1.x86_64.rpm, but seems that internet lacks for nspluginweapper-1.2.2-1.x86_64.rpm (apocalyptic, isn't it?)

Is someone here able to send me the file? The checksum is: 35db7d2c1d5794f813715e21f053210d.

Thanks!

Luca

i don't want so spoil your fun but flashplugin is native for a long time on x86_64. Just do pacman -S flashplugin

Give what you have. To someone, it may be better than you dare to think.

Another way for x86_64:
1. Download last version her for x86_64.
2. Extract the TAR.GZ file :

tar -xvvzf libflashplayer-10.0.42.34.linux-x86_64.so.tar.gz

3. Move the "libflashplayer.so" to "/usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/"

mv libflashplayer.so /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/

Done!

Not entirely a useless post.  A lot of folks (myself included) are having problems with Hulu and Huludesktop and the 64 bit flash.  I am currently running 32 bit flash, which solves the problems, but I ran into the same trouble as you did.  Rather than scour the web for the rpm, use nspluginwrapper-ubuntu from the AUR instead.

And why should we do this? It's pretty the same except you don't use the package manager (no automatic updates, conflicts ...).

TRUE, But:
1. my Comment beginning with Another way for x86_64.
2. Flash 64bit was for long time unreliable.
