Laptop speakers don't mute with h/phones on OSS4

I'm using OSS sound but when i plug headphones in to the laptop i get sound through the headphones and the laptop speakers at the same time. Alsa works fine. Is there something i need to configure so that OSS recognises when i plug headphones in?

OSS uses totally different drivers. Hence you can have a sound device which alsa recognizes and OSS doesn't, or vice-versa.

In this case, the specific OSS driver for your device doesn't yet recognize the jack notification when your headphones are plugged in. Nothing much you can do beyond asking up-stream.
