USB Edge modem

Can anyone please help me to configure my mobidata edge modem. Here is the lsusb output:

Bus 005 Device 005: ID 04fc:2140 Sunplus Technology Co., Ltd

My kernel version is 2.6.32-ARCH.

ls /dev/ttyUSB*

doesn't show anything either. I guess I am doing something wrong with modprob. Do I need to create a new file in /etc/modprob.d/?
