address space collision / conflicts with ACPI region SMRG

Hi, I've got a new Arch system running in the last week, which in itself is really nice but there something in /var/log/errors.log that bothers me:

kernel: pci 0000:07:04.0: BAR 6: address space collision on of device [0xfbec0000-0xfbedffff]
kernel: ACPI: I/O resource 0000:00:1f.3 [0x400-0x41f] conflicts with ACPI region SMRG [0x400-0x40f]

which is related to these two

00:1f.3 SMBus: Intel Corporation 5 Series/3400 Series Chipset SMBus Controller (rev 05)
Subsystem: ASUSTeK Computer Inc. Device 8383
        Flags: medium devsel, IRQ 12
        Memory at fbbfc000 (64-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=256]
        I/O ports at 0400 [size=32]
        Kernel modules: i2c-i801

07:04.0 Ethernet controller: Realtek Semiconductor Co., Ltd. RTL-8110SC/8169SC Gigabit Ethernet (rev 10)
Subsystem: ASUSTeK Computer Inc. Device 820d
Flags: bus master, 66MHz, medium devsel, latency 64, IRQ 22
        I/O ports at e800 [size=256]
        Memory at fbeffc00 (32-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=256]
Expansion ROM at c0000000 [disabled] [size=128K]
Capabilities: [dc] Power Management version 2
Capabilities: [60] Vital Product Data <?>
        Kernel driver in use: r8169
        Kernel modules: r8169

Is that a general sign of misconfiguration or a bug? It's an Asus Maximus III Formula board. I'm running

2.6.32-ARCH #1 SMP PREEMPT Thu Jan 7 22:28:29 CET 2010 x86_64 Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 CPU 860 @ 2.80GHz GenuineIntel GNU/Linux

Strangely everything seems to work ok, I'm just asking because I had trouble this past week getting custom kernels (everything from 2.6.32x to .33x to .33-git4) to work with several distros, where alsways this error turned up upon boot resulting in no boot at all. roll

Re: address space collision / conflicts with ACPI region SMRG

Today I have replaced my AGP card with PCI Express (same motherboard) - "address space collision on of device" appeared
