Hello everyone!
I'm using Ion3 now. Some time ago I set my keyboard layout on X with gnome to US International AltGr dead keys. Ion3 doesn't remember this (as Openbox does). So I wanted again the same keyboard layout on Ion3. I tried around and now I can't change the keyboard layout like on http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Con … youts_in_X any more. (I didn't find this wiki early. )
Make this article findable by typing 'keyboard layout' and not only 'keyboard layouts'
Now I'm surfing around in the internet and I can't remember where I found this guide who made me edit some file that changed the xkb layout and variation (or something like that).
I set by accident the US International (the 'normal' one) and it's annoying. :s
Once again: It's not in the rc.conf and not in the xorg.conf . Where can it be?
Thanks in advance.

I'm not sure about your set up, but could it be this you're looking for: http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Xor … otplugging
If not explicitly define in xorg.conf you don't want this, 10-keymap.fdi is the place to configure.

Thanks a lot! It was that!
I think it might be useful if the two links that are in this thread would be one of the first matches when searching for 'keymap' and 'keyboard layout' in the wiki.

Probably, yes. I'll take a look after work.
