chromium and youtube

hi there!

i am currently trying out some browsers and i am now with chromium. the problem i got here is, that youtube only displays a white image where the player should be. the player shows up for a moment but disapears then. i hear the sound though. other flash things work normally. any ideas on how to solve this?

It's a bug.  You can make the video reappear by scrolling a bit (and then scroll back, if you want).  It'll probably be fixed before too long.

This bug cropped up sometime in the last week or two (I compile daily builds of chromium).  I believe the developers know about it.

Yea I know.  There's just something thrilling about using the bleeding edge.  And there haven't been any really bad bugs yet.  Just a few random things here and there that get fixed pretty quickly.  It's quite stable.

I have another problem with chromium (from AUR), and youtube, when I try to reach a youtube video, chromium tells me my browser is not supporting HTML5 and I can't find a way to force it to flash instead...

HTML5 can be disabled on http://youtube.com/html5.

thank you Atragor! I think I registered to the html5 program, and forgot it. I supposed html5 would use something like theora at that moment...
