sound stops during media playback

Hey Archers... i noticed something strange today, i can't remember it ever happening before

While Amarok 2.2.2 is playing my music.... if another sound happens... for example... I empty the recycle bin, or if
the amsn sound alert plays when somebody comes online.... The sound on Amarok Stops even though the track is still playing

I also get the same problem if im running something like VLC.... the sound will stop working while playing a movie or music file when interupted

Can other people please try this to see if you have the same bug....  i was thinking it might be a xine issue?

I reported it to kde and they reckon its not....so it could be my setup... somehow... but i need others to try it for me too

I am using Arch Linux 64bit, Kdemod 4.3.4 and I am using the phonon-xine backend...........

I was gonna try the phonon-gstreamer backend aswell but the pkgbuild for it is borked and i can't see it in any other repo
