When i try to run makepkg on xf86-video-intel-newest (from AUR), i get a dependency error saying im missing libdrm-newest>=2.4.17. However, when i do a "pacman -Qi libdrm", it says i have version 2.4.17-3 installed.
I was wondering what the best way to get around this would be? In the xf86-video-intel-newest page it has a link to libdrm-newest 2.4.17-1 that i can download and install from the AUR, however would that cause a conflict because i also have 2.4.17-3 installed (from extra).
Alternately, could i just remove' libdrm-newest>=2.4.17' from the depends field in PKGBUILD and run makepkg regardless? Or would that cause issues? (I'm pretty new to this, so any advice on how to advance would be appreciated).
Thanks

Change libdrm-newest>=2.4.17 to libdrm>=2.4.17 in the depends array and run makepkg.
