As the title says, has anyone any suggestions as to a lightweight, simple spreadsheet application, that is not Openoffice, Gnumeric, etc.
I did try a couple curses based ones, namely sc http://www.boutell.com/lsm/lsmbyid.cgi/000293 and teapot http://www.moria.de/~michael/teapot/.
I do kind of like them, especially as they are curses based, but I would quite like to know if there's more out there.
Thanks

I am sorry that I cannot provide with any other suggestions, but can you please tell me how you got to work with teapot? I am trying to figure how to use it, and fail at that... A tutorial maybe?

You hit most of them. There is also koffice-kspread (very graphical) and oleo (very not graphical) in the repos. Running Visicalc in dosbox is entertaining. Here the is uber-list: http://linuxfinances.info/info/spreadsheets.html
@Stalafin
See /usr/share/teapot/teapot.doc. (It is actually a text file, despite the name.)

If you run Wine, Spread32 (the last freeware version) might satisfy your need - see also http://xtort.net/freeware/office-and-pr … -software/. Also,

You should also try Siag: http://siag.nu/siag/
