opera beta 2 especially cause the opera site doesnt have an option for ARCH users,( which means non anti-aliased fonts in the menu ) :x

in future mate, go to archlinux.org, put in the package name, then flag it out of date.
You are *much* more likely to get a new package if you do this. Not all maintainers check the forums and many of those that do, dont regularly.

The menu fonts are antialiased when you use a shared qt version of opera. Try to download the version that you want using "Download this package in TAR.GZ format instead of your distribution's native format" checkbox.

iphitus : thanks for the tip
lanrat : yeah, but the location of qt varies from distro to distro...so which distro should i download it for ? cause the .tar.gz files are distro specific AFAIK.. or are all the .tar.gz versions the same?
