Hello,
just a couple of days ago my microphone suddenly stopped working. Now that I tried to solve the problem, I am kind of puzzled. As far as I remember, when opening alsamixer in the capture section (F4) I used to have a volume control for my line in (mic) and for my front mic, boosts for both, as well as switches to select input source 0 and 1. Now all that is left are the two boots and a capture which I can toggle for recording. My front mic in principle still works, I can hear my voice when unmuting its playback. Simply alsa is running, no pulseaudio or so. Basically I need to set my front mic as default input source again. Any ideas?
