Well i was trying to get a copy of arch linux working on a computer. My question is what are some additional packages (if any) do you need to install, to get a decently working copy of arch?

It depends what you want it to do...

You could install X and run a graphical environment, or not.

The Beginners' Guide will step you through the basics.

Yea i consulted that, but the additional packages i was talking about was during the installation where it asks you to select packages, i selected the normal ones and the development packages. Is there anymore i need to pick, or should i be fine with just those?

Anyways thanks for the welcome aswell.
