Security mailing lists provide some of the most up to date sources on security notices, disclosures, and vulnerabilities.

The best aggregation of said mailing lists that I have found is at insecure.org (think nmap). They actually have their own site referenced from that called:

Bugtraq ML is very usefull, yes

MS Sec Notification ML is not really ;-)
