[solved] Install new soundcard and oss?

I am ready to change out my sound card. I need to know what the procedure
is for doing this with OSS. With alsa, no problem,. Install new card and run alsaconf.
I have no idea how to do this withh OSS.
This is an internal pci soundcard

I guess it should be just changing the card and then adjusting mixer levels, but keep and eye on any messages oss outputs when it starts, those may be useful if oss doesn't work right away.
