I am trying to install a package from 'Community' repo called Virtualbox & for some reason Pacman can't locate this and I don't know why. It comes up when I search for it on the Arch main page via my Firefox browser but it's not visible in Pacman. Anyone know why I am missing it?
[carlos@tuna ~]$ sudo pacman -Syy
:: Synchronizing package databases...
core 36.3K 332.3K/s 00:00:00 [###################################################################################################################################] 100%
extra 447.5K 1227.4K/s 00:00:00 [###################################################################################################################################] 100%
community 367.8K 1004.0K/s 00:00:00 [###################################################################################################################################] 100%Above I can clearly see the 'community' repo is updated 100%.
Now when I search for the package:
[carlos@tuna ~]$ sudo pacman -Ss virtualbox-ose
[carlos@tuna ~]$![]()
./

the thread also say why virtualbox-ose is not in community.
Give what you have. To someone, it may be better than you dare to think.
