Extraneous network interfaces

After playing around with aircrack for a while, I noticed that I had in turn created maybe four or five more network interfaces, all for the same purpose (monitor mode). I did a search of one of the interfaces and found a directory in /sys/class/net, though I was given an error in terminal when I tried to delete it:
rm: cannot remove `mon1': Operation not permitted

Does anybody have any idea what I could do to get rid of them?

Re: Extraneous network interfaces

Never done anything with aircrack so i don't know about how their settings are save or anything, but if your getting an Operation not permitted when trying to remove a file, the current user probably doesn't have write permission on that file. Try removing it as a super user?
