y execute kmenuconfig
and make a few changes, i put some icons (a lot of sections not have icons) , and organise tha applications in submenus
save k cahnges y look the k-menu and ths icons changed ok, but ths submenus (or the new items created) not appear... :?
it's a error of kde? or the packages are bad?

There are other things happening when you use kmenuconfig. Just try to remove your openoffice links, they come back right away. I don't even have OO1.1.3 anymore, but the links are still there.
I notice that empty sub-menus seem to not show up, there must be some other rule that governs things like this. I was going to look into this anyway, so I will repost here unless someone else knows off the top of their head.

Do a "locate 1.1.3" and it will show up some files in your ~ directory.
Remove them. That's what I did to get rid of 1.1.3 menulinks.

Thanks, they were in the ~/.gnome dir. I never thought to look there. Useful feature if you use both desktops and want to have consistent menus I guess.
