I was using screen when I didn't know xmonad very well at all. When I found out how to use it and make workspaces I wanted to make a workspace with 4 irssi clients. But in my screen config file I had screen to startup with irssi already connected to freenode, and when I try to run irssi outside of screen it just makes a new screen term. I tried removing screen and that just made things worse. Another thing I tried was just removing the irssi line in .screenrc but that didn't work either. Any ideas?
