I installed gvim, and the man pages for rgview, gvim, gvimdiff, rgvim and gview are 'dangling symlinks' in all the different man directories, as mandb tells me (also when i try to access them with man).
Apparently all the symlink targets miss the '.gz' at the end of the filename. (For example, /usr/share/man/man1/gvim.1 is a symlink to "vim.1", but the directory has a "vim.1.gz" instead.)
This looks to me like a mistake in the packaging of gvim, but i thought i'd ask first. Anything i had to specify?

Report a bug. Definitely sounds like a packaging issue.

There already was one deep down the priority list (last page actually).
I voted it, now it has 2 votes. But i see it's been there for about 4 months now, and this issue seems like it would just take a few minutes to fix. Anything that can be done?

Not really, the dev will get to it when they have time. You can always post a fixed PKGBUILD to the bug tracker.
