Hi,
Does anyone have a repo with the firefox-kde-opensource available for x86-64? I'd like to give them a try, but don't have time to recompile.

No, its more like a theme + icons + kde file associations + kde filepicker etc.
Pretty nice!

So, any hope? :>

May not be relevant but how come firefox in opensuse is still branded as firefox? Wikipedia article on Iceweasel says:-
Mozilla Foundation owns the trademark "Firefox"[5] and claims the right to deny the use of the name and other trademarks to unofficial builds.[6] Unless distributions use the binaries supplied by Mozilla or else have special permission, they must compile the Firefox source with an option enabled which gives Firefox the codename of the release version of Firefox on which it is based, and which doesn't use the official logo or other artwork
So I am assuming opensuse has got permission from Mozilla. If only the opensuse code is used with no additional patches, then would it be okay to put up a package on community?

Bear in mind that the standard firefox package in Arch is also not using the official branding. I don't see why the package couldn't be available in [community]. It only lacks votes.

It would be great if someone could provide this package in a repo or even better if it was added to [community]. Building it from sources takes lots of time...

Even though it takes a while to compile, it would still be more expedient than waiting for someone to create a repo, would it not? For instance, it has been more than a week since the OP.

I didn't say that i haven't build it myself. I use it now, but it would be great to just download binary package after firefox gets updated instead of building from sources every time.
EDIT: I've just noticed that firefox-kde-opensuse is already in kdemod-extragear (x86_64 for now, i686 should follow soon) http://chakra-project.org/bbs/viewtopic.php?id=2306 .

Repo for x86: csslayer-aur-repo @ googlecode.com
This repo doesn't seem to be working for me, pacman complains about the repo not being found:
error: failed retrieving file 'csslayer-aur-repo.db' from csslayer-aur-repo.googlecode.com : Not Found
error: failed to update csslayer-aur-repo (Not Found)
Is there any binary repo for firefox-opensuse? I am using a netbook, compile time is really long (almost six hours).

This problem seems to be related with googlecode refusing some user-agents.
You can try setting up some external program as downloader in /etc/pacman.conf. wget works well for me.
