Intel Turbo Memory & Linux

My laptop is an ex-display model Amilo Xi-2428 that I've had for quite a while now. But it's only recently I noticed that it came with Intel Turbo Memory installed. This was an optional extra for 1GB of Turbo Memory which I assumed I didn't have since mine was a refurbished model and the 1GB turbo memory was not listed in the specs.

Is there anyway I can use this as a flash drive? It shows up as unclaimed when I use lshw to list my hardware:-

           *-memory UNCLAIMED
                description: Memory controller
                product: Turbo Memory Controller
                vendor: Intel Corporation
                physical id: 0
                bus info: pci@0000:04:00.0
                version: 01
                width: 32 bits
                clock: 33MHz (30.3ns)
capabilities: pm msi pciexpress bus_master cap_list
                configuration: latency=0

lspci shows it as this:-

04:00.0 Memory controller: Intel Corporation Turbo Memory Controller (rev 01)

It is definitely there. I opened up the back of my laptop to check.
