ask here: http://chakra-project.org/bbs/ is a proper answer... That is the support forum for chakra/kdemod.
Also, you need to learn to ask questions properly... you have given us no information:
1) did you install using Chakra or via the Arch installer.
2) what do you mean there is no kdm? Does it just not start? Have you tried helping yourself using the KDM wiki page...
3) is a kdm package installed?

I think you must have done something wrong:
pacman -Qo /usr/bin/kdm
/usr/bin/kdm is owned by kdemod-kdebase-workspace 4.4.0-3
Hopefully the kdemod forums will answer your answer fully, that is what they're there for after all.

Sorry. I didnt mean to be rude. I installed arch. By saying that there is no kdm, I mean there is no kdm in /usr/bin, or /bin, or /usr/sbin, or /sbin. Basically what I mean is that I cant execute it at all. I am not so sure if kdm even exists in my repos. because when I type in 'pacman -Ss kdm', nothing shows up.

How did you install KDEmod? Looks like you are missing some components of it.

i added the kdemod repository as described in chakra's website and typed 'pacman -S kdemod', which was supposed to install all the important components of kdemod, and when it didn't work i typed in 'pacman -S kdemod-complete' which was supposed to install all the components, but it still didn't work.

This is weird... I think you do need help directly from the kdemod people so the Chakra forums are the way to go...

Never mind, I figured out another solution. I booted up Fedora live CD and copied KDM from fedora to /usr/bin and it started working.:D
