So, I have a wired connection, I can restart the network with no issues. I can get an IP and access the router page, but I can't ping google or any other site. I was playing with pdnsd the a couple days ago, but I had it working and I disabled it and still nothing.
edit: Internet works on other computers.
Any ideas?

Is it your router or does someone else control it?
Ensure the router is configured to let your machine out on to the internet.
Also, is the router page at xx.xx.xx.01 on your subnet?
Does the output of route include a default destination entry that points to your router?

Well, I can take the same ethernet cable and plug it into my laptop and that works just fine..
the router page is at 192.168.1.1 which I CAN access via my web browser.
There IS a default option shown using the route command that points to 192.168.1.1.
EDIT: I just typed in google's IP into firefox and the page loaded. That means it has gotta be dns problem somewhere
