I realize there is a desktop environments section, but I figure that I'd fit in here better, seeing that I installed Arch yesterday.
Just in case anyone wants to link me the wiki, that's what I followed to get to this point.
So basically, when I boot up in kdm, the options for KDE and Openbox are both there, and I can login (the term eludes me) to each of them, and they work and whatever. However, KDE/Openbox is just not there. I have also tried changing the ~/.xinitrc file to exec openbox-kde-session and "xinit /usr/bin/openbox-kde-session", but (as far as I know) it merely boots into KDE.
I may be wrong about openbox-kde-session and am just not noticing anything different between openbox-kde-session and kde, but there really seems to be no difference.
How do I resolve this?

in systemsettings>default applications, you can select which window manager you would like to use.

Ah, ok. That would make sense, since I don't plan on using KDE's default window manager anyway. Thanks.
