Asking for help tracking down mpd bug

It seems i am the only one who suffers from this bug. So i ask the whole lot of you mpd users to test this and maybe someone else experiences the same behavior:

Short description: When playing mp3 files, mpd updates the progress of the track at half speed. The file itself is running correctly tho. Also the reported time of the files is correct. I already was able to bisect the commit that causes this behavior and the commit message makes perfect sense for this issue. Still i havent been able to find anyone confirming the issue.

I cannot reproduce this using qmpdclient and ncmpc as clients.
