How remove a not working kernel (compiled by me)?

hello pals. how do I remove a kernel that don't work? just remove it from /boot? or there's a "more correct way" to do it?

If you have installed it with pacman simply:

pacman -R packagename

Yep, just remove the appropriate files from /boot and the folder that corresponds under /lib/modules/

thanks pyther. I think that lib/modules is the problem that I can't do the kernel I did work

I should re-install the arch. If I be succesfull I post here.

'cause I can't start kdm anymore. it's starts, after put user and password, and returns to "welcome"

I tryed to update the system, but when I see that were necessary 700Mb, I choose no, but, the Sh%$*# were did.

I tried to create other user, delete configs from mine, but not succesfull
