If you want, I can upload the wallpaper somewhere (2560x1600), or I can just email you a copy.  If, however, you're feeling creative, you can follow my how-to and see what you get smile  Glad to know you like it though.

*Edit* turns out the original is available via the text-only version.  Link: http://www.archlinux.org/static/magazin … a_arch.jpg

Re: Arch Linux Magazine, February 2010

good job again.

offtopic: I tried creating an epub for reading on my phone (you know the html doesn't really work for that because of the text width) but can't really seem to get a good looking output. Converting the pdf massively screws up, the html works mostly but it misses all the pictures. Someone knows how to do this so I can have pictures. It would make my train experience so much better ;-)

Another month, another issue!

As promised, we are slowly working back towards releasing the monthly copy of Arch Linux Magazine on the first. This month I was only a few short hours off from my target time. On the flip side, this month we have a few new features (and one noticeably missing, sorry... it'll be back next month). Hopefully we'll be able to keep doing the new features and, over time, build ALM up to what I know it can be.

My sincerest thanks to those of you who continue to contribute, and for those of you who are interested in contributing in the future (or translating), we now have a wiki page designed specifically for you! As for those who are waiting for sources for translation, I haven't forgotten you and will be sending you the link in the morning... it's long past my bedtime.

And so, without further ado...

I still awating for the sources of the magazine in order to translate it. If you don't want my help, just let me know it and I won't disturb you any more.

Cheers

In the text version, under devland, the second two links don't work due to missing dashes.

Re: Arch Linux Magazine, February 2010

@ghost1227,

I've been trying to get in touch with you via email, but as I have had no reply I gues that my messages(3) have been lost in cyberspace.

Could you please tell me if you still have the article I send on securing Arch linux back in 2009? (23 June 2009)
It's not been published in any of the magazines yet, and I wonder if it's been lost somewhere along the way.

Sorry for using the forum for an otherwise private message, but this was the only way I could think of to making sure the message would be received.
