[SOLVED] not an ELF file
My machine froze before completing the last upgrade. Now when installing any packages there is an error message:
Example:
/sbin/ldconfig: /usr/lib/libplds4.so is not an ELF file - it has the wrong magic bytes at the start.

One of the reasons when installed packages get corrupted and the files no longer have an owner. The solution, to reinstall the defected packages.
