[SOLVED] 'failed retrieving file' when downloading lmms, kdenlive

I am attempting to install lmms and kdenlive with pacman, it installs most of the dependencies but not all the files.

lmms:

error: failed retrieving file 'lmms-0.4.6-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.gz' from mirror.rit.edu : File unavailable (e.g., file not found, no access)

kdenlive:

error: failed retrieving file 'strigi-0.7.1-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.gz' from mirror.rit.edu : File unavailable (e.g., file not found, no access)
error: failed retrieving file 'sox-14.3.0-2-x86_64.pkg.tar.gz' from mirror.rit.edu : File unavailable (e.g., file not found, no access)

It shows the error message for every mirror that I have enabled, then shows the error below:

warning: failed to retrieve some files from extra
error: failed to commit transaction (Not Found)
Errors occurred, no packages were upgraded.

lmms and kdenlive are in the community repos, and I have extra and community enabled in /etc/pacman.conf

do pacman -Syu first
lmms is at version lmms-0.4.6-2 and i bet the other are in the same manner.

basically your database is to old compared with our current packages.
