Startup Errors

When I start up my computer, for one of the daemons it spits out an error, but my computer boots too fast to be able to read it.
Is there a log file I can read where this error happened?

Re: Startup Errors

Maybe some log in /var/log/, depending on the daemon.  Or you can do what I do and comment out the "c1:2345:respawn:/sbin/agetty -8 38400 tty1 linux" line in /etc/inittab.
