upgrade to cups has my network printing broken:
logs Leave this:
[Job 292] Running /usr/bin/gs -dQUIET -dPARANOIDSAFER -dNOPAUSE -dBATCH -sDEVICE=pxlcolor
-sstdout=%stderr -r600 -dDEVICEWIDTHPOINTS=612 -dDEVICEHEIGHTPOINTS=792 -dMediaPosition=0
-dBitsPerPixel=8 -dDuplex=true -dTumble=false -sOUTPUTFILE=%stdout -c <</.HWMargins[12 12 12 12]
/Margins[0 0]>>setpagedevice -f /var/spool/cups/tmp/pstopxl.Ek2303
E [11/Feb/2009:09:44:09 -0800] PID 6810 (/usr/lib/cups/filter/pstopxl) stopped with status 255!Any Ideas? Googling implys that
The error code doesn't seem to mean anything:
from the bash Page:
255 Exit status out of range
I'll try and take a closer look at pstopxl, but if anyone has ideas, let me know
Thanks
I should add that the cups web interface gives this when I try to print:
"/usr/lib/cups/filter/pstopxl failed"Last edited by tdphys (2009-02-11 18:31:42)

err... looks like postscript or ghostscript got broken. Anyway, are you using gutenprint for printing? because, if you do so, it's very important to run 'cups-genppdupdate'. When it isn't run, weird errors like that one appears.
p.s. restart cups after running that command.

They say that if you play a Win cd backward you hear satanic messages. That's nothing! 'cause if you play it forwards, it installs windows.
