Hi guys,
Ive got Arch running on my main computer now for a few weeks and liking it alot. Even so that i want to install it on my laptop aswell...
Now there are a few issue with this, namely, how will i be able to check in linux if everything works? and, this computer uses a software controlled radio button to activate the build-in wireless card. Will this work? Ive looked trough the hardware support sites but couldnt find a good answer.
The laptop is a hp nx8220 with the Broadcom Wireless/LAN buildin Also windows uses a 3rd card called 1394 Net Adapter, im not sure what the function of this network card is.
Thanks in advance guys

Well, ive got it running for 2 days now, and slowly but surely getting my way arround it.
Installing 1 package at the time
Im currently working on setting up the wireless with Kwifi, and getting the printers that are connected to windows machines installed. Which seems more difficult than i thought it would be.
Btw anyone know a good DVD/CD burning utility under kde (i use the kdemod version) and a good DVD playing program?
