Icons on Qt Assistant are so big

Im using Qt 4.6 on KDE 4.4.

On Qt Assistant, the icons are big. Such as the toolbar icons and menu icons.

Is there a way to fix this?

Thanx in advance

Re: Icons on Qt Assistant are so big

Hmm..nope i havent checked the settings yet.

However, strange thing just happened. The icon got so big when i used an icon theme called kycon. however when i changed to oxygen, the problem dissapeared.

Im confused.

And im getting some strange things related to Qt. When i started QtCreator from the application launcher, it takes a long time to be up and running, and a lot of CPU usage too. However when i execute qtcreator from konsole, its quick. Strange

Re: Icons on Qt Assistant are so big

sounds like a problem with a poorly created icon set.

watch your system monitor to see what program is consuming the cpu.

Re: Icons on Qt Assistant are so big

I think it is a mistake ing settings in KDE settings manager, I have some icons big, too. In Qstardict. But I don't mind it so much and I don't have time to solve it.

Re: Icons on Qt Assistant are so big

Same problem here.
Qtcreator takes long time to boot and uses ( when it loads completly ) 54% of my cpu.
Any ideas why and how to solve^?

Yes...my problem is like yours. And more strange things. Sometime X consumes a lot of cpu. I think i should make a different posting for this problem.

In kde 4.3.x the icons were displayed just fine

As you've posted before... Sometimes X is hungry and Qomsic has so big icons. I thought I was my mistake in settings, but it isn't. But I am just updating the KDE 4.4.0-3 to 4.4.0-4, so let's see how it changes :-)

Re: Icons on Qt Assistant are so big

Hi, had the same problem with the slow QtCreator start-up.

I seem to have fixed it by removing all my old QtCreator
settings at:
/home/your-usename/.config/Nokia

It will again take a long time to start-up directly after that...
but then, all subsequent start-ups will be fast.

It's probably just another KDE/Qt feature.
