I'll keep this short. This tablet is working 90%, then pen works, the eraser works, the buttons work, the only problem I cannot seem to fix is whenever the pen gets close enough to the tablet is acts like it is touching it, starts holding down the left mouse (default action).
My understanding is that tablets work like a pen and paper, it actually doesn't write anything until the pen touches the paper. The tablet will show where the pen is positioned before you actually touch it, much like how you move a mouse around. However I can hover the pen around the tablet without ever touching and it acts like I am. This doesn't only happen in gimp, it happens in all programs, so I know it's not gimp-specific. And only the pen side of the stylus does it, the eraser works properly (works only when its touching).
I am using xf86-input-wacom-git, compiled today. The tablet is a Wacom Bamboo MTX-450A (iirc).

Turns out it was the pen, I took it apart and managed to get it going again. Thats what happens when you buy something used online and the person says "works 100%". every. single. goddamn. time.
