For some reason, having updated to the latest Qt, all my KDE apps started behaving as if no theme was installed. SMplayer can change from the Default (Win-like
) theme to Plastique, but the color remains the same. My point:
I searched the forums and wiki, to no avail.
Thanks in advance ![]()

I have a similar issue with kvirc too. And I haven't found anything to fix it.
I don't know why, but my other apps are fine, just kvirc behaves this way.
If you found a solution, please let me know.

Nothing so far, no. I'll ask around more and reply here if I come to any meaningful conclusion. Stay tuned.

If you run qtconfig, does changing the theme there do anything?

It does, actually, thanks. Just tell me, how come that, regardless of what I set in qtconfig, only Clementine and SMplayer change, while k3b remains the same? Or should I say, how do I setup Clementine and SMplayer to the same behaviour as k3b (since it kept the same look after upgrade)? Thanks ![]()

I think Clementine and SMPlayer are acting normally whereas K3b is not.
For SMPlayer, you can go to Option > Preferences > Interface and change the look there.

K3B is a KDE app, not just a Qt app. SystemSettings > Appearance overrides Qtconfig for KDE apps, so, for them, use Systemsettings (in kdebase-workspace).

Wow, I had no idea.
Thanks to both of you. Solved ![]()
