Well i like to listen to audio archive from this website http://secure.stretchinternet.com/demo/ … C&ed=today
its some type of rtsp stream if im correct now in windows its needs quicktime player to work and it works fine
anyone have a idea how to get this working in linux. I tried vlc and few other media players.

You could try mplayer with the codecs package from AUR.

I've found mplayer isn't exactly good with rtsp streams. I'd suggest trying with Totem.

i've installed totem-plugin but i get errors trying to play videos on apple.com:
GStreamer encountered a general stream error.
gecko-mediaplayer works very well in epiphany and firefox, but not in chrome.
I need something that works in Chrome. ![]()

i have the same problem. gecko-mediaplayer works very well in firefox, but not in chromium...................
gecko-mediaplayer is missing on about:plugins page.
