I have noticed that pacman doesn't check what packages for what architecture it's installing. There is no problem to install x86_64 packages for i686 architecture. Ahd how I noticed it? I sent my pacman.conf file to my frind who has it broken and I didnt mind that he is using i686 as I am amd64 user. So he makes install and update without problem and what happens next u can all realize. Do u think it is ok?

Sure... There are lessons to be learnt here! ![]()
There is something to prevent you doing this in the git repo at the moment. It will be in the next major package release.
