Is is possible to compile lmms with the vestige plugin on x86_64? I'm almost positive I've used it that way on other x86_64 distros, but can't seem to figure out how.

hello there
i have had this issue too..
Hm...you see the problem is ..vestige doesnt really have a native support for linux
hence , vestige requires wine..
Yes , It is possible ...but the process is rather tedious..
And , as we know , wine on 64 bit is kinda problematic ..
Therefore , we have to install bin32-wine and most of the lib32 for compatibility sake..( you could do a 32 bit chroot too if u want )
Next , you would actually have to get a gcc-multilib in order to compile lmms with VST support
( I have actually managed to compile from source ...but without lmms )
But to cut a long story short , i got vestige with lmms up and runnning on my com
hm...the compilation process might be a tad messy ...
i will try to build a lmms package for you with vst support

that would be most appreciated.

I get "not a valid gzip archive" or something. Can you try it again?

hm...something went wrong with the uploading i guess..
i have re-uploaded it to dropbox ..
it conflicts with lmms ..so remove lmms
lmms-vst ( the package i compiled ) provides lmms and lmms-extra
i have also added in a few more dependencies such as zynaddsubfx and wine
heres the link
