Thunderbird 3 and extensions

Hi, I noticed a very strange behaviour of x86_64 Thunderbird 3. I use the Oxybird theme 1.4 and the firetray extension 0.2.5, but the first turns out to be not compatible with Thunderbird 3, while the latter simply doesn't work without giving any error. With i686 instead there's no problem, and both work great. Do someone know more about this? Have anyone noticed this before?
Thanks

Edit: actually firetray generates an error in the error console: "Components.classes["@mozilla.org/FireTray;1"] is undefined"

Re: Thunderbird 3 and extensions

Oxybird has a new version for Thunderbird 3: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/thunde … ddon/57496

Not sure about firetray.

Re: Thunderbird 3 and extensions

I'm using firetray 0.2.3 without any issues.

Re: Thunderbird 3 and extensions

Installed firetray to test this (and because it seems a handy addon) and it doesn't work here too (x86_64, xfce). Nothing shows up in the system tray, even if configured to minimize to tray when closing.

However this one seems to work fine https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/addon/2831 and should do the same (or similar).

Re: Thunderbird 3 and extensions

Thanks guys!
@grassmonk: I didn't know a new version was out. I tried it and it works.
@allan: firetray 0.2.3 didn't work for me even on i686, but the update to 0.2.5 solved the issue. But not for x86_64...
@ROOKIE: tried it and it works, but it doesn't show new mail as firetray does... sad
