wine, nvidia, or GLX problem?(SOLVED)

running arch-x86 with nvidia geoforce 6200 and nvidia 173.14.25. when I try to run any game from a CD/DVD I get:
Oblivion GOTY 1]$ wine OblivionLauncher*
X Error of failed request:  GLXBadDrawable
Major opcode of failed request:  136 (GLX)
Minor opcode of failed request:  5 (X_GLXMakeCurrent)
Serial number of failed request:  2380
Current serial number in output stream:  2380
when I try to run a game from the internet thru wine I get:
$ wine "c:\\Program Files\Guild Wars\Gw.exe"
X Error of failed request:  GLXBadDrawable
Major opcode of failed request:  136 (GLX)
Minor opcode of failed request:  5 (X_GLXMakeCurrent)
Serial number of failed request:  938
Current serial number in output stream:  938
when I try to run a linux game(PlaneShift) from the net I still get the same thing. This started when I tried updating pacman to the new KDE 4.4 I had to pacman -Sy --asdeps qt and I got the following errors when pacman finished :
g_module_open Failed for /usr/lib/gtk-2.0/2.10.0/loaders/io-wmf.so:libjpeg.so.7
g_module_open Failed for /usr/lib/gtk-2.0/2.10.0/loaders/svo_loaders.so:libpwg12.so.0
gconftool-2:5679 gconf-critical failed to load /etc/gconf/gconf.xml.defaults/%gconf_tree-gv.xml error online 490 char 129 document end unexpectedly while inside an attribute
nothing seemed to not work(This was 2 Pacman -Syu ago so i thought the problem fixed itself)
I had to pacman -R kde-meta-pim in order for pacman to finish and update. the GLXBadDrawable started then but in one out of 4 times. If I kept on reloading a game it would finally work. Researching I thought this was a nvidia problem but the next pacman update updated a new nvidia and nvidia utils. This also happens with linux games so I rule out wine? I dont know if this is a nvidia problem still or if somehow it is a GTK problem  and if it is what do I do to fix it??

Re: wine, nvidia, or GLX problem?(SOLVED)

Try using the nvidia 190.53 driver

"You can watch for your administrator to install the latest kernel with watch uname -r" - From the watch man page

Re: wine, nvidia, or GLX problem?(SOLVED)

removed the 173 nvidia driver and installed the 190 nvidia /nvidia-utils and everything works, linux internet, wine and cd's.
