Sleep button does not work

Hi,

My sleep button doesn't seem to work although suspend works if I manually click it from the menu. May I know how I may fix this? It was working in Mandriva, moved to Arch smile

Thanks!

Well what DE/WM are you using? Does xev return a keycode when you press the suspend button?

Re: Sleep button does not work

I am using KDE4.4, heres what xev has to say:

KeyRelease event, serial 35, synthetic NO, window 0x4800001,
    root 0xff, subw 0x0, time 7138703, (323,98), root:(476,446),
    state 0x0, keycode 150 (keysym 0x1008ff2f, XF86Sleep), same_screen YES,
    XLookupString gives 0 bytes:
    XFilterEvent returns: False

Yeah, that looks right.  There was a bug for this but should have been fixed in the latest version of Qt (4.6?):

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=181444

Take a look at Keyboard and Mouse in SystemSettings and try to find if you can set it manually.
