We have conflicting comments in our D-bus and HAL wiki pages which might confuse some users:
http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Dbus#Introduction
http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/HAL#Step_1:_Install
The D-bus page says "you don't need to (and you shouldn't)" put dbus in the daemons section of the rc.conf file, whereas the HAL page says dbus should be entered there (and before hal) because "while HAL will load DBus automatically if it is not already running, it will not unload it properly at shutdown".
Do any of you know with absolute certainty which comment is correct, or are they both correct, or both incorrect?
Thanks!

I fixed it up a bit.

I wasn't sure which was actually correct, but that clears things up a bit.
Thanks, Misfit!
