anyone know if you can buy a 1201N with a solid state drive?

Probably not and I would be careful with any SSD drives that asus offers. I know the ones in the 1000 models used some type of pci-express chip and not a standard 2.5' SSD drive.

Disclaimer: I haven't look at the Asus' netbook line in depth in over a year
